Recent Investments
BioEnergo and the eFuels Carbon ISA Fund have successfully signed a comprehensive term sheet, with the Fund currently conducting due diligence on BioEnergo. Upon successful completion of this process, the Fund plans to invest €100 million into the venture. The total project valuation, including all associated costs, is estimated at approximately €250 million.
The flagship project in Pori, Finland, has received full authorization and is slated to commence construction development in early 2025. All key participants, including a reputable international EPC contractor, have been identified and will be contracted upon finalization of the Investment Agreement at closing.
BioEnergo is at the forefront of the global effort to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from transportation by producing advanced biofuels. The Pori project features a cutting-edge, second-generation bioethanol plant that is energy self-sufficient and strategically positioned to meet stringent EU directives. Leveraging low-carbon sustainable feedstocks, the project is designed to produce cost-competitive, low-carbon biofuels while delivering robust returns on investment. Backed by a highly skilled team with extensive expertise, BioEnergo aims to scale this initiative into a multi-hundred-million-euro enterprise, driving innovation and sustainability in the energy sector.
